Zentek is one of the smaller Hypercorporations.
They own the Seattle sports arena and the Imperial Warehousing Facility, Industrial City.
Attempting to gain some market share of the combat robots, dominated by the much bigger dataDyne's combat robots, they developed the Junebugs, some of which were purchased by LAPD.
In 2020 the Hawk Team, paid by dataDyne, took over the Imperial Warehouse killing the guards, then used as staging area from an attack against Carrington Institute in Los Angeles. Operating from a Zentek facility, they would leave dataDyne outside all traces.
A battle ensued with David Roarke and Junebugs, resulting to Detective Max Conroy's death and millions in hardware damage for Zentek. Expecting Zentek forces to arrive, there was no time to sanitize the site, other than erazing any evidence of Carrington involvement from the networks. The dead guard's and the cop's bodies would send Zentek to war. The Carrington hackers would cover it up as making a theft attempt of Zentek's combat robots, and Conroy dying heroically to stop them.
