The RC-P45 is one of the "Classic Weapons" featured in Perfect Dark. It is the RC-P90 that appeared in GoldenEye 007, and which is itself based on the FN P90. Another P90-based weapon, the RCP-90, appears in Perfect Dark Zero.

Overview

It is a very powerful weapon, with a large magazine, high rate of fire and good accuracy. Unlike in GoldenEye, however, the shots fired no longer penetrate enemies and doors. As a classic weapon, the RC-P45 has no secondary function, and there is no in-game description.

The use of the RC-P45 in single player is unlocked by getting gold medals in the firing range, as with all classic weapons. Alternatively, the All Guns in Solo cheat will also give you all the classic weapons.

Trivia

• The number '45' in RC-P45, is half of 90, which is found in Goldeneye's RC-P90 and Perfect Dark Zero's RCP-90.
• The term 'P45' may also refer to the P45 Tax Form, the British equivalent of the US' Pink Slip.
• Because of the large magazine size of the weapon, dual wielding it and obtaining max ammo will cause the reserve ammo bar to glitch out and appear empty, even when using a single RC-P45 or the RC-P120.
• A single shot from this weapon surpasses the damage taken by the K7 Avenger, but just short of the DY357 Magnum in power.
