The KSI-74 is an assault rifle, based off the real-life Russian-manufactured Avtomat Kalashnikova 1947 rifle, otherwise known as the AK-47 (correctly known as simply the AK). This weapon uses the 7.62x39mm Soviet cartridge, and fires from a box magazine with a cyclic rate of around 600 rounds per minute. It has a bayonet attachment, and the secondary function involves shooting the bayonet at foes.
The "74" in the name is likely a reference to one of the variants of the AK, the AK-74; however, the KSI-74 is a 7.62x39mm variant, not a 5.45x39mm.
